The dragon is a beast that doesn't need to be tamed first! Despite of its radical riding properties, the Dragon 05 has a surprisingly wide range of application. Thanks to a new shape concept, riders now have a choice between three different widths at a board length of 134cm, depending on spot characteristics, wind speed and rider weight. The Dragon's sharp rails in connection with the new North Kiteboarding Flex Tips let the board glide smoothly through choppy water and provide unusual pop for loaded jumps. All Dragons are equipped with a grab handle and asymmetrical, adjustable footstraps. The stance options permit two variable footpad positions. Dragon S This little beast will raise Adrenaline levels in lightweight riders and high wind freaks. Tuned with Flex Tips the Dragon has excellent brakes, even in overpowered situations, and keeps the rider firmly in control. Its elaborate scoop rocker forgives mistakes in landing jumps, yet retains sufficient flexibility for switchstance and open the door to waveriding. Together with a large kite you can have fun on this board even at wind speeds that would normally only move sailing boats. The relatively short board has excellent early planing, yet it is easy to control even when you're well powered up. The footstraps can be mounted off center to bring the heels closer to the edge for optimum edge control.
