Tethered to a board made of plastic, What came next was something drastic. The figure turned and began to slide Straight downhill, with a powerful glide Upon arrival of this snow mound, Dancing and twisting in a single bound. Like a black bird taking flight, This figure moved with precision and might. When gravity started to take hold Our hero's flight was over sold. His mighty legs were poised and ready, His hands became quite strong and steady. As his board and snow would mesh Like a raven's talon grasping flesh. He pointed a fist up to the sun While he cruised down the outrun From the trees I could hear All his friends yell and cheer. My mind began to draw blank As he stepped off his p-tex plank I quickly asked the other witness 'Excuse me sir, but what is this?' After a second he made his claim Just simply put 'This is Afterlame.'
